Hi! Thank you for visiting! I'm a teacher and writer in New York City. My short humor has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, The Belladonna, and other publications; I also have written about education (in earnest) for Rethinking Schools and The Reading Teacher.
I studied nonfiction writing at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies and satire writing with The Second City. At Celebration Barn, at Movement Theater Studio, and with Hilary Chaplain, I studied clown and mime. I also enjoy foraging for mushrooms, snails, and magic beans.
